Robert Wells solo at the grand piano releases new music and embarks on a concert tour!

In September, Robert Wells releases new single "A Misty Morning". It is the sixth piano piece from Wells' instrumental series "Songs Without Words", which has passed overwhelmingly 600 000 streams on Spotify.
During this autumn's concert tour, you will meet Robert Wells completely solo with newly written songs, mixed with the music of the classical masters and the grand piano in a razor-sharp presence. Closeness and feeling that makes the listener dream away in the music with the instrument's incredible power.

The new single "A Misty Morning" is released 17 september. A meditative piano piece with harmonics, calm and romantic feeling, inspired by an early walk on a quiet summer morning. In parallel, the music video recorded in Eric Ericsonhallen on Skeppsholmen in Stockholm is also released.
"Songs Without Words" is an instrumental piano collection for all generations of music lovers. The first song in the series, ”A Window To The Past”, has passed over 600 000 listens on Spotify and was followed by "Summer Breeze", ”Silent Rain”, "April" and "Wedding Bells" in the spring 2021.

Rhapsody In Rock returns to Dalhalla!

Successor Berglund, Harryson and Wells are back! Now they are making a comeback with "The original on tour".
Berglund, Harryson and Wells, "The original on tour" will be a concert tribute to TV programs with live entertainment. Many presenters, conductor and pianist have participated in the box over the years and the whole of Sweden has sat down to be entertained.
Now the succétrion is back and ready for the Swedish tour!
Conductor Johan Landqvist who led the "Så ska det låta" orchestra through the first twenty years joins the tour, with the entire original band. It was also Johan who came up with the idea of reuniting the men after all these years.
Also participating are Nina Söderquist and Janne Åström as well as local singers who will be highlighted in each city around the country.
– We want to revive with the unique atmosphere that existed in the studio the first years we worked together. That is, the jam, the turn and the joy. There will be a song and music party. Both competition elements but also musical oases with all participants are expected here.
We will make sure that the audience is a big part of the whole concert, greets Berglund, Harryson and Wells.

Robert Wells celebrates “Rhapsody In Rock” 30 year anniversary with Sweden tour in the autumn 2019!
One of Sweden's largest concert experiences of all time “Rhapsody In Rock” firar 30 year autumn 2019. Robert Wells now brings the original set with Anders Berglund as already 1989 conducted the first concerts and the Gävle Symphony Orchestra which participated in the first tour!
This will be the first concerts since 2003 as the radar couple Wells and Berglund take the stage together with rock bands and 52 manna strong symphony orchestra. Secret singers will also be invited during the tour.
-It feels great to take Rhapsody In Rock further, exactly the way I dreamed of as a young pianist at the Academy of Music. It is even more fun to do this again together with Anders Berglund as conductor. We are our own little dream team with many years of touring and with all the years on TV:s How It Shall Sound. Says Robert Wells.

The idea for Rhapsody In Rock was born during Robert Wells' classical studies at the Academy of Music. During the day it was strict lessons and during the evenings it was Blues, Boogie, Jazz and Rock in the pubs in the Old Town. There and then, was born the idea of its own cross-border music project “Rhapsody In Rock”. Over 1 950 000 have seen and experienced “Rhapsody In Rock” only in Scandinavia and still holds the audience record at Ullevi 2003 with seated audience. In addition 50 sold out concerts only in Dalhalla. Roberts Wells ”Rhapsody In Rock” har tagit dem bl.a. to the USA, Australia Germany, England, Russia and several times to China. Six Gold Plates and two Platinum Awards.
A concert in the spirit of Rhapsody In Rocks is always performed with a large dose of "Old Time Entertainment". Inspired by Victor Borge, Charlie Norman and of course the old champions with Beethoven and Chopin at the helm. Relaxed and playful with the audience.
In May, two sold-out performances will take place in Gävle, and by virtue of this, the Sweden tour will now take place, starting in the autumn. 2019.

Guinness World Record
January 15 when BBC Radio 2’s ‘Friday Night is Music Night’ celebrated the Guinness World Record 60th Anniversary, the programme managed to set its own new record. In a PopMaster reversal of sorts, Radio 2 presenter Ken Bruce was able to recognise 13 ABBA songs played in a minute, by Swedish pianist Robert Wells.

It will be celebrated big and royal when Rhapsody In Rock embarks on the biggest summer tour since 2009 with master Robert Wells behind the grand piano. This year, Robert Wells celebrates 30 years as an artist so it gets a little extra of everything. With them they have one 60 strong ensemble and most of the guest artists and there will be a large dose of entertainment of the absolute highest class around some of the country's most beautiful venues and castles during the summer 2016.
Robert Wells is currently in Florida to start the preparations and to be inspired for this summer's big castle tour.
It will have its tour premiere in Varberg, Varberg's fortress on 27 July 2016 and you visit exclusively 5 castles around the country with a final at Gränsö Castle in Västervik.

"Rhapsody In Rock Proms 2016" offers classical and popular music together with the Sweden Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Ulf Wadenbrandt and some of Sweden's most popular guest artists of the absolute highest class filled with much joy and humor! It will be the tour premiere 27 July at Varberg's castle fortress on the west coast of Halland.
Rhapsody in Rock, which is perhaps the biggest Swedish tour success ever 1,9 million tickets sold, thus returns to the Swedish scenes. Royal Albert Hall, China, The United States and Moscow are just some of the scenes that Robert and Rhapsody have visited over the years.
