The two concerts Robert Wells gives with his Rhapsody In Rock 14 and 15 August is moved to Skansen, Stockholm.

Purchased tickets to Waxholm are valid for the same date at Skansen. As Skansen has a larger capacity than Waxholms Kastell, extra tickets are released. The concert time has changed both days to 19.30. The large Rhapsody stage will be built on the pitch in front of Solliden, where Wells gave some of his legendary Rhapsody concerts for almost exactly 10 years ago. The move will then be made to Rhapsody In Rock on Saturday 15 August in addition to the participating artists will also be visited by five of the greatest artists in China. The concert will also be recorded by Chinese TV.

It is now clear that rock legend Jon Lord (Deep Purple, Whitesnake) participates in this year's Rhapsody In Rock premiere in Falkenberg on 11 July 2009.

It's in the spirit of rock Robert Wells presents this year's Rhapsody in Rock "Handful of keys". This summer, Wells offers a large dose of world-class high-class rock. With him is the rock legend Jon Lord (Deep Purple, White Snake m.fl), Glenn Hughes ”The Voice Of Rock”(Deep Purple m.fl) and Albert Lee (Eric Clapton Band m.fl), Stephen Brant-Hansen, LaGaylia, Jacob Samuel (Poodles), Mikael Rickfors, Nina Söderqvist and Well's own "sidekick" Jörgen Mörnbäck. This year, Rhapsody also has the addition of the current CD The Vocalettes, The "Team Wells" choir from the TV4 choir and the singer and percussionist Pablo Cepeda. Joakim Cans (Hammerfall) appears exclusively at the final gig 28/8 in Dalhalla.

Parts of Wells Rhapsody, also touring in Folkparkerna this summer. Wells then takes with him, Rhapsody Lounge Orchestra, The Vocalettes, Albert Lee and Lennie Norman on a traditional Folkpark tour (see tour dates at www.rhapsodyinrock.se).

Rhapsody In Rock is the largest touring device ever toured in Scandinavia. Under 11 years have been done over 350 concerts, sold over 1,6 million tickets. Robert Wells started it all out of sheer joy of playing and love of music of all the different styles. TV has also shown almost all sets of Rhapsody concerts over the years.

It has emerged from various articles published in the last week that Malena Ernman has been asked to participate in this summer's production of Rhapsody In Rock.

There is obviously some kind of misunderstanding here, which should be clarified.
Malena Ernman has not been asked about participation from Rhapsody In Rock this summer, as we have a completely different focus on the content of the concerts.

We in the Rhapsody in Rock gang congratulate and keep our fingers crossed for Malena Ernman now on Saturday.

Robert Wells hurriedly flew over to London on Friday, to meet singer and musician Glenn Hughes' "Voice of Rock" (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Trapeze m.fl) . The meeting which was very successful and led to the fact that it is now definitely clear that the world artist Glen Hughes participates in this summer's Rhapsody in Rock. It was thanks to his choir from Falkenberg that Wells was tipped off about Hughes and from there could be connected with his manager in England. In addition to the Glen Hughes and the "Wells" choir from Falkenberg and the choir, La Gaylia is also ready for Rhapsody in Rock. In a couple of weeks, Wells will release the other names of participating artists + another world artist coming to Sweden for Rhapsody this summer.
